DPPC’s summer programming will be in full swing the second week of July with many favorite programs returning. Wondering if you should come down to Burnside Park? We have 5 reasons for you.

Dance in the park with aliens from Big Nazo.
Where else can you dance with aliens or try on some alien body parts and then dance around the park under the trees? Pretty much no where, so you won’t want to miss Kidoinfo Storytime + Art in the Park on July 11.
Let your creative side shine.
Wednesday is Art Day at the Imagination Center. This mellow program that runs from 11 – 2 is the perfect break in the day to make art outside and your own pace.
Learn to salsa.
Mambo Pa Ti will be in Burnside Park on July 11 to perform a free guided salsa demo before Grupo Sazon takes the stage at the Burnside Music Series + Beer Garden.
Drum with Sidy Maiga.
Malian drummer Sidy Maiga hosts a monthly open drum circle during Kidoinfo Play in the Park. Bring your own drum or use one provided by Sidy.
Lunch under the trees.
There is a great line up of delicious food trucks in Kennedy Plaza every day this summer. Try new trucks Pit Stop or HG-80, or come back for some of your favorites like Rocket, Portugalo, Poco Loco and more! Check out the full schedule and plan your lunch week.
