The Providence Foundation has posted an open position for Assistant Director. Begun in 2008, the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy was created as a public-private partnership formed to preserve and revitalize Providence’s historic downtown core by transforming it into a lively, cohesive and prosperous economic and cultural center through the development and management of exceptional public spaces. In 2011 The Providence Foundation brought the DPPC under its fiscal agency and now operates as a project within the larger organization.
The Providence Foundation is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Director to assume leadership and supporting roles to further the organization’s mission with specific focus of the public space efforts of the DPPC project.
