Afrika Nyaga Drum + Dance Festival Moved Due to Rain!

Drums

Co-produced by Sidy Maiga and the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy, this event showcases the music and dance of Africa and the diaspora. Performances by PVDFest headliner Afriamanding & Sidy Maiga, as well as dancers, storytellers, and more! Burnside Park will once again be activated with music, dance, food, storytelling and activities for all ages.

Also taking to the stage will be reggae band, Natural Element, as well as sabar graoup Babacar Diery from Senegal.

This is a FREE and family-friendly event, come on down with the whole family.
