Thank you for being a part of the transformation!

We are so proud of the work we’ve done this year in Greater Kennedy Plaza. THANK YOU for joining us in Burnside Park this year and being a part of it.

If you have attended one of our events you may not realize that the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy is a public-private partnership whose mission is to preserve and revitalize Providence’s historic downtown core. We work to transform Greater Kennedy Plaza into a lively, cohesive and prosperous city center by maintaining exceptional public spaces. Though we often work closely with the city, we are not a part of city government.

If you enjoy our events and programs, there are so many ways you can invest in our work and help it continue to grow.

  • Attend one of our free events with a friend!
Help more people find out about our work by inviting them to join you at one of our events, or invite them to like our Facebook page and follow us on Instagram.
  • Visit the park, even if there isn’t an event!
We have food trucks at lunchtime all year long, and Brandon’s Beach, the one-of-a-kind playground is always open! Even just sitting on a park bench or going for a walk has many health benefits. Get outside!
  • Make a tax deductible donation!
We are a nonprofit and operate as a project of The Providence Foundation. We rely on the generosity of partners, sponsors and visitors to fund the work we do. Support the programs you love by making a contribution today!

Thank you so much for being a supporter! We look forward to seeing you in Greater Kennedy Plaza in 2019!
