STORYTIME and ART IN THE PARK – The Great Green Room! 10:30am – 12:30pm
Storytellers, illustrators & authors, and children’s performers entertain and enlighten children and families by the fountain in Burnside Park. Bring a blanket and enjoy stories being brought to life in the park with your little ones!  Storytime features at least one story each Thursday morning from a local Rhode Island author, illustrator or storyteller and is accompanied by a mini-mobile playground and face painting for young wigglers, so the whole family can enjoy!

The world of enigmatic Margaret Wise Brown is Art in the Park’s inspiration for this summer. As local artists delve into classic works such as Runaway Bunny and Goodnight Moon, children of all ages will find the illustrations coming to life–with the help of their very own hands! Join Ricky Katowicz and guests to transform Burnside Park into The Great Green Room!
