The Winter Lights Market is back in downtown Providence for the second year in a row!
Join the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy, Mayor Jorge Elorza and Providence Art Culture Tourism for two days of family-friendly fun that will be sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
This year’s Winter Lights Market will take place on Friday, November 30th, 5 – 9pm and Saturday, December 1st, 12 – 9pm, in Burnside Park and East Approach, which will be closed to bus traffic during the event.
After the Christmas Tree Lighting in front of City Hall, warm up under a heated tent set up in East Approach and stroll through Eat Drink RI’s artisan market on Friday from 5 – 9pm and Saturday from 3–9pm. Shop from local artists for a thoughtful and unique gift for everyone on your list.
This is not all about shopping though, we have also put together a fun selection of live music performances, family friendly activities, festive illuminations, public art, and so much more! Don’t worry about getting hungry, there will be delicious food and beverages if anyone gets hungry.
Some of this year’s featured artists will be Ricky Rainbowbeard, Masary Studio’s Sound Sculpture and many of our favorite performers from this summer’s Noon Tunes series! Stay tuned for the full schedule of events.
See you after the City Hall Tree Lighting to kick off the holiday season!
